Here God Goes Again!

Well, here God goes again! He is on an adventure and our family is doing it's best to follow him on it. He is walking us down a path that only he knows where it leads. Our family has been talking hanging out at the mouth of this path for a number of years but have not taken any steps to walk down it. But our hearts can no longer restrain the desire that God has been "fostering" in us for these past years.
(Right about now you are probably saying, "enough with the illustrations, and get on with it.")

So here we go. This Thursday night from 6 - 8pm Montine and I are going to be attending the first class in the process of becoming Foster Parents. I am so excited to be in a place in our lives that we finally feel the overwhelming compulsion to take Christ admonition to care for the "orphans." We feel that this is a personal and intimate call that if each Christ-follower took seriously we could virtually wipe out the orphan epidemic.

So please pray for our family as God leads us somewhere that is a little scary but promises to be very rewarding. Looking forward to seeing how God uses this "Goose Chase" to grow our family into looking more like The Son.
